This notice explains what information we collect through morpheuscapital.net, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are

This website is run by Morpheus Capital, LLC, registered in Delaware, USA ("Morpheus", "we", "us"). For anything about your information, contact us through the Request a conversation form on this site.

What we collect

When you request a conversation, we collect what you give us: your name, email address and organization; how you're reaching out (for example, as an investor or family office); what caught your interest; how you found us, and who introduced you if you tell us; and anything you write in the reply boxes.

If you use the microphone, your voice is converted into text so it can appear in the box. We keep the text, not the recording.

When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the site secure and working.

To understand how the site is used, we run our own analytics. A single cookie, set by this site, gives your browser a random ID that lasts a year. With it we record your visits, which parts of each page you read and for how long, the buttons and links you click, how you use the request form (the choices you make and whether you close it without sending, but never what you type), how much of the opening video plays, the site or link that brought you here, your country and region, and your type of device and browser. We don't store your IP address, and we don't use advertising cookies.

If you request a conversation, we link your request to that ID, so we can see which parts of the site you read before writing to us.

Why we use it

We use the information you send us to read your message, reply to you, and prepare for a conversation. If you're offering a service, we keep your message on file but may not reply. An automated check helps us tell sales pitches apart from other requests; anything it sets aside is still kept, and we review it ourselves. We use analytics to understand which parts of the site are useful and to improve it, and technical information only to run and protect the site.

If you're in the UK or the European Union: we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us and in understanding how our site is used, and on the steps you take before entering into any agreement with us.

What we don't do

We don't sell your information or share it for advertising, and we don't combine it with information about you from anywhere else. We don't add you to a mailing list.

Who helps us

A small number of service providers handle information on our behalf, only to run this site:

  • Website hosting: Vercel.
  • Secure database: Supabase, where submissions and analytics are stored.
  • Notifications: Slack, which alerts us when someone requests a conversation.
  • Speech-to-text: OpenRouter and the AI model provider it routes to, used only when you choose the microphone.
  • Screening requests: OpenRouter and the AI model provider it routes to, which read what you write in a request (your organization and your reply) to check whether it's a sales pitch.

These providers may process information in the United States and other countries. We use providers that protect it under recognised safeguards.

How long we keep it

Conversation requests: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we go on to work together. Service offers: up to 24 months. Analytics: 13 months, then deleted. Technical logs: kept by our hosting provider for a short period, as set by them.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact us through the Request a conversation form on this site and we'll respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority where you live.

Changes

If we change how we use your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
